ABOUT US

Wrexham Dementia Action Alliance has been set up voluntarily to form a Dementia-Friendly Community, to help raise awareness, improve understanding and give people suffering from Dementia a better quality of life.

Description

We believe that people with dementia have the right to a good quality of life and to remain independent in their local community. We also believe that people with dementia have the right to live well, engage in and contribute to their local communities, as long as they wish to do so.

We aim to address negative attitudes and raise awareness and understanding of dementia.
